Meeting up with Kristen & Jeremy

Last night I got to see my college friend, Kristen, whom I hadn't seen since last summer at her wedding! I miss her so much and wish that we lived closer. We finally concocted another one of our famous plans to get together!
Kristen and me standing outside Bianci's, the pizza place we went to eat.

Me and my other half. :)

Even though it was freezing cold out, we decided we needed ice cream. As Kristen says, "There's always room for ice cream!"

Our first party in the new place...

...a little something I like to call bribery. I buy the pizza, and people come to tear down the wallpaper in our bedroom! What a great concept!

Adam's Mom, Debbie, gettin' in on the action.

This is my, "Aren't you supposed to be working?" face.

Adam looks like he's having way too much fun!

Chloe the chiweenie!!!

Ok, I know it's been forever since I've posted anything on here. It's been a rough year, but things are getting back on track and I need to get some new pics up here!

This is Chloe, the puppy my Mom got right after Thanksgiving in '07. She is a chiweenie, meaning she is a chihuahua/dachsund mix. She was only 1 lb. 11 oz. when we got her. She is now 2 1/2 lbs. Still tiny! I don't think she is going to get much bigger. She is the cutest thing in the whole world. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. She is so much fun to play with and is such a cuddler!

Yes, she is sleeping on her back.

Chloe and my aunt's golden retriever...this shows you how little she is!

She loves going "byebye" with mama in the car!

Happy 4th of July!

We had a great 4th of July with my family! Here's some pictures of Adam and Me playing bean bags with Mom and Dad.

We went to Lake Shelbyville to go boating, but we were only out on the water for about an hour before Mark's boat broke down! Another boater was nice enough to tow us back to the dock. What a bummer! We did get a little bit of skiing in before it happened though. Here's Mark skiing...

Kristen's Wedding

I met Kristen my junior year at ISU. We both rushed Alpha Gamma Delta and then discovered we lived one floor away from each other in the same dorm! We became instant friends and stayed close even after Kristen decided not to stay in the sorority. She is the only friend I still have from AGD! While in college Kristen and I loved to get together on Monday nights to cook dinner for each other, drink wine, and watch "The Bachelor." I miss those Monday nights now that we live two hours away from each other!
Here are some pictures from Kristen & Jeremy's wedding. Congratulations guys!

This is Kristen and Me at her bridal shower.

Bachelorette party! We all had shirts that said, "Kristen's Last Fling Before the Ring."

This would have been a good picture of Adam and Me if the sun hadn't been shining in his eyes!

That's better!

Baby Clare!!!

My cousin Jenn finally had her baby! I'm an aunt! Well not "technically," but Jenn is more like my sister than my cousin so it's close enough. Clare Louise Miller was born on May 17th, and she was 7 lbs. 4 oz. Mandy and I drove out to Maryland last weekend to go see her, and we had so much fun holding her and taking lots of pictures! She is the most precious thing I have ever seen. She just melts my heart!

Wearing one of the outfits I got her. It says, "Mommy's Little Sweetie"

Clare loves to take cuddle up and take naps!

Hiking at Starved Rock

Adam and I have been wanting to head up to Starved Rock to go hiking for a long time, and the weather was finally nice enough this past weekend. It was a gorgeous day!
