My 25th Birthday

My 25th birthday was awesome! I pretty much celebrated all week! My Dad was going out of town this week so I celebrated with my family Monday night by having my requested dinner...shrimp! YUM!!!

Wednesday morning my co-workers suprised me with a birthday breakfast. They brought a big fruit tray and muffins and gave me supplies to wash my new car. Very clever gift!

On Thursday, the day of my birthday, Adam brought me my favorite lunch at work (pasta salad and bread from Coreleone's...YUM!) AND a gorgeous bouquet of pink roses. Isn't he a sweetheart?

When I got home from work there was a package from my best friend Sarah with two bottles of wine...more YUM!

Thursday night I went out to eat at my favorite restaurant, La Mex, with my Mom, brother Mark and sister-in-law Maren, Adam, and his parents. (Also YUM!) I forgot to take pictures during dinner, but here are some pics of the gifts I got. Adam's parents gave me two super cute Cubs shirts (go Cubbies!) and a candle.

Mom, Dad, Mark, & Maren gave me tickets to go see Wicked!!! I have been wanting to see it forever...so exciting!!!

I also got lots of cards, text messages, voicemails, myspace messages, and facebook messages from friends and family. It was a fabulous birthday! I am one lucky girl!

Birthdays!

Since Veronica's birthday is April 4th and mine is April 12th we decided to celebrate together this weekend. How fun!

Adam was there to help celebrate of course!

And my cousin Mandy was here for Easter, so she joined the fun too!

My new car!!!!!

Now that I am working full time and no longer attending school, I am finally living my dream of owning my very own car!!! I have been looking for about a month and finally found the most perfect car for me, a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS. As you can see, it is a gorgeous pearl white color! It has tan leather interior, a sunroof, and remote start! I LOVE IT!!! It is so much fun to drive and it is in excellent condition. (P.S. Did I mention it's fast? HeHe!)

Our 1st Valentine's Day

This was Adam's and my first Valentine's Day together, and it was wonderful! We had agreed on no gifts since we are trying to save money, but Adam sent a basket of chocolates and a red rose to me at work. (He knows my weakness for chocolate!) After I got off work we went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Louie's Chophouse. The dinner was delicious as always and I would not have wanted to spend my night with anyone else. Love you sweetie!

Da Bears!

I know this is a little late, but now that my blog seems to be working again I thought I would try to post some more pictures. Here are some pics of Adam and I all decked out in our Bears gear for the NFC Championship game. (We won't talk about the Super Bowl...) The blanket is the fleece Bears blanket I made for him for Christmas.

Adam, you silly goose!

That's better!

PINK COOKIE!!!

I know it's been two months since I've posted, but I've had a hard time getting my pictures loaded on here and haven't had time to mess with it. BUT, in lieu of my Valentine's gift from my wonderful friend JAMIE I just had to give it a try! Some of you may know about my addiction to the wonderfully delicious pink cookies that for some unknown reason can only be found in the Utah area. In high school my lunch every day was a pink cookie and a Sprite. I was very sad when I moved to Illinois and discovered that you can't find them here! Jamie sent me THREE of them for Valentine's Day!!! What a great friend! Jamie, you rock!

Exhibit A: One wonderfully delicious pink cookie

The excitement is building...

Mmm....delicious...

That is the face of pure enjoyment...

And of course, I can't forget the Sprite!

Hospital Christmas Party

Friday, December 15th was the Morris Hospital Christmas party. Over 600 people came, and it was a great time! I especially loved the chocolate fountain!

Don't Adam and I look festive?

Adam's Mom, Debbie, works at the hospital as well, so the four of us got to eat dinner together and hang out for the night!
